During the hot summer vacation. Where the sun was dancing above our heads. I planned to go to my grandmother’s house which is in Andhra Pradesh. And the school had declared sixty days holidays. But let me tell you this vacation was not like any other vacation. It was something unique for me and it surprised me a lot of learnings in me.
Whenever I go to granny’s house. What I usually do is that I play with my neighbor on the streets. But this time I wanted to try something different. Suddenly, an idea struck my head saying why not try learning swimming this vacation.
A sudden enlightment occurred why to waste my vacation without any productive use. So, my first day of swimming was like “An ant left in a glass of water.” Though I had to travel a lot every day to each my swimming pool it was fun to swim every day and meet new people which I always love to do Another incident which happened while swimming was, when I started learning back stroke.
” Life is a journey, not a destination “
I wasn’t able to follow coach’s instructions and somehow I had difficulty in learning it. To my utter horror, when I slip and feel inside water, I miracly started to swim backwards.
This experience taught me that what you sow is what you reap. You have to put your best effort when you are seeking the best results.
